Hey Friends!

So last week I was interviewed on not 1, but 2 recovery podcasts!
LoveSober with Mandy Manners and Kate Baily
That Sober Guy with Shane Ramer

Both very different, but both are really good because they focus on solutions to the “how to get sober?” question.

I’ll actually be interviewing them both on this podcast, but if you’re looking for additional podcasts, check ‘em out! I’ll leave links in the show notes.

Today’s episode, I’m going old school. I’m going back to my roots to share a conversation with Jeremy, a very dear friend from home.

Jeremy shares his incredible story of early alcoholism and addiction, what he went through to finally get to his moment of clarity. He’s got some crazy stories that make his comeback story and all that he’s accomplished in recovery, truly inspirational.

He now works in Executive Management for one of the biggest high tech companies out of Silicon Valley. More importantly, he’s a dedicated father & husband, a man of honesty and integrity, and a loyal friend. I’m so honored to share my friend with you.

Answers to lightning round questions:

What has helped you the most in the beginning?
Fitness and community – Having fun in recovery

I’m in the footwork business, not the results business. False belief: outside issues will fix me.

Favorite books:
A New Pair of Glasses, Chuck C.
Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell

Favorite Quote:
Trust God, clean house, work with others.

Wish he knew in the beginning?
Had a fear of impending doom all the time. I wish I knew it would be okay. And that happiness is not the goal of recovery.
