So I’m really excited to share this episode with you, because I think Annie Grace’s approach to alcoholism is brilliant. She is addressing people who are at the stage where they are just considering decreasing the amount of alcohol they are drinking. The reason I think that’s brilliant, is that she lowering the bar of entry to world of sobriety. In AA especially, the barrier to entry to admit you are an alcoholic, and for a lot of people, that’s a lot to swallow, and is typically met with a huge amount of resistance. I find her approach is both non confrontational, pragmatic and very objective and ultimately, leads to the same conclusion that abstinence is the answer.
