Tools To Overcome Trauma In Sobriety With Caroline Beidler

In this episode, I have a conversation with Caroline Beidler, the co-author of “You are not your trauma: Uproot unhealthy patterns, Heal the family tree”

Trauma is such an important topic because so many of us in recovery from addiction are living with unhealed trauma. It affects our sense of self-worth, the people we surround ourselves with and even our ability to get or stay sober.

Caroline and I talk about her story of abandonment, growing up with dysfunctional parents, surviving multiple sexual assaults, and her own addictions.

We actually recorded this episode prior to the one we did with her mother Diana Dallas, who co-authored the book, but I was so moved by THAT conversation that I published it first.

So yeah, there’s no master plan, I’m literally flying by the seat of my pants!

Caroline’s story is one of trauma, but ultimately, she is also a living example of how far you can go, when there is willingness to do the work of recovery.

What you’ll hear:

✅  Living With Childhood Abandonment

✅  Experiencing SA Multiple Times

✅  Healing Relationships With Parents

✅ Her Unique Path To Sobriety

✅ Finding Purpose and Joy Today

And so much more…
