Today my guest Katie will share what it was like to grow up in a sober home, how she is coping with the death of her mother and what it’s like living life as a sober mom herself.<\/p>\n

Katie is the oldest of 5 kids. Her parents got sober when she was 12 but before that she grew up having to take care of her younger siblings and deal with the struggles of parents who were drinking and using.<\/p>\n

After her parents found recovery, she had to adjust to a whole new way of life. She eventually got caught up in drugs & alcohol herself, got recovery started a family herself but then relapsed and lost it all.<\/p>\n

Our conversation chronicles her experiences of what it was like, what happened and what it’s like now.<\/p>\n
